Legal Clinic

The Community Immigration Law Center, Inc. (CILC) seeks to assist low-income immigrants with their immigration-related issues by providing information, support, and referrals to immigration attorneys or accredited representatives.

Community volunteers conduct the legal clinic. The volunteers include law students who conduct an initial intake interview and either an attorney or an accredited representative who then conducts a confidential interview to discuss immigration issues.

Legal Clinics are held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month beginning at 1:30 p.m. and are by appointment only.

Consultations are by appointment. Please call 608-640-4444 for appointment availability.

BRING with you:

  • Copies of all documents relating to your immigration case

  • Copies of all documents relating to any criminal cases you have had

  • Any other documents relating to your case that you think might be important or about which you have questions

LANGUAGE Please call 608-640-4444 if you need an interpreter. Leave a message with your name, the date you will attend, and the language requested. We cannot guarantee we will find an interpreter, but the further in advance we are notified, the better chance we have to do so.

CHILD CARE Childcare is not provided. Please do not bring children to the consultation unless absolutely necessary.

Clínica Legal

El Centro Inmigratorio de la Comunidad (CILC) busca ayudar inmigrantes de pocos recursos con sus casos de inmigración relacionados con el apoyo y referencias a abogados o representantes acreditados.

Voluntarios de la comunidad conducen la clínica legal. Entre los voluntarios se incluyen estudiantes de ley que conducen la entrevista inicial y un abogado, o un representante acreditado que conduce una entrevista privada para discutir temas de inmigración.

Las clínicas legales se llevan a cabo el segundo y cuarto viernes de cada mes a partir de la 1:30 p. m. y son solo con cita previa.

Consultas son con cita previa. Llame al 608-640-4444 para consultar la disponibilidad de citas.

Por favor, traiga contigo:

  • Copias de todos los documentos relacionados con su caso migratorio

  • Copias de todos los documentos relacionados a cualquier caso criminal que haya tenido

  • Cualquier otro documento relacionado con su caso que usted piense que sea de importancia o acerca del cual tenga usted preguntas

No podemos garantizar que podemos encontrar un intérprete; mientras más anticipación tengamos, hay mejor posibilidad de encontrar alguien.
